File Formats

Flagworks uses Adobe Creative Suite 4 (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign CS4)

To avoid having your images look like diagram A - Please make sure you send us a bitmap file with a resolution of 72 DPI or higher, at full size. For banners over 10 feet high, please enquire.

Illustrator

Save as an EPS
Convert ALL FONTS to OUTLINES
Specify Pantone #'s - solid coated for color accuracy

InDesign files

Select File > Package and it will create a folder with all of your linked images, fonts etc.
This is the preferred method to receive files.

Photoshop

.PSD or .TIFF files, if flattened, can be used.
JPG files must be 72 dpi on actual size of artwork.
Digital camera pictures must set at maximum pixel & image size.
We do not accept multi-page PDF files.

Transfer Media

Flagworks accepts various methods of receiving files.

The easiest method is our online file upload utility. You may use this for large files from 10 megabytes to 100 megabytes. To ensure a faster upload speed, try compressing multiple files into a zip file, before sending.

You may also upload files up to 400 megabytes to our FTP server.

You'll require an FTP client such as CuteFTP which is available @ http://www.cuteftp.com/downloads

For even larger files (400 megabytes or greater) it is advised that you burn the project to a DVD and courier it to the address on the Contact page.

IMAGE BLEED

Not required we do that.
Allow a 3" inside gutter containing no text or images.

SUBMISSION SCALE

Ideal is 1:10 & provide a color hardcopy.

If you don't have access to artwork in the above formats, please contact your Flagworks Representative for a quote.

If your artwork doesn't meet the above criteria an additional art charge may apply.
